Congratulations! You’re about to be part of a great opportunity to get a jumpstart on the biology and chemistry core content needed for the biology curriculum and to adjust to the college environment early and before other first-year students arrive on campus. We are excited to have you join our MU science community. Before we see you in August, take note of the important information below.
Check-in is Sunday, August 12, 20178
You will be moving into your permanent room for the entire school year, so make sure to bring everything! Make sure to visit the Movin’ to Mizzou Web site, where you can read about how to prepare for the move-in process, where to park during move-in, and what you can or cannot bring into your residence hall room.
Here is a breakdown of the move-in schedule:

Complete the Following Before Attending BIOME:
- Reserve your books on the Mizzou Store’s Web site
- Pickup a pair of Safety Goggles from the Mizzou Store
- Recommended reading that will be referenced in one of the faculty research presentations: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot
Optional: Participate in the residence hall shared schedule program promoting study groups. To opt-in, check the box on the “My Check-in Verification” page in myZou. (Log in to myZou, select “Self Service”, then select “Residential Life,” then select “My check-in verification.” )
